1.2 Our correspondence address is Hot Comps LTD Suite 14, St. Mary’s Court, Carleton Forehoe, NR9 4AL.
1.3 If you wish to contact us for any reason, please email admin@hotcomps.com.

2 The Competitions
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all prize competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at https://hotcomps.com (the “Website”).
2.2 All competitions operated by the Promoter are random draw prize competitions. Winners are selected entirely at random from all valid entries received in accordance with these terms and conditions. Each valid entry represents one chance in the draw.
2.3 Entry into a competition may be made either by:
(a) paid online entry via the Website; or
(b) free postal entry in accordance with clause 3.10.
2.4 Paid entries and free postal entries are treated equally. Each valid entry is allocated a unique ticket number and carries an identical and equal chance of winning.
2.5 The Promoter does not exercise discretion or judgment in selecting winners. No element of skill is required to enter or win any competition.

3 How To Enter
3.1 The competition will run from and including the opening and closing dates specified on the Website. These dates shall be referred to as the “Opening Date” and “Closing Date” respectively. All times and dates referred to are the times and dates in London, England.
3.2 If it is necessary to do so for operational or regulatory reasons, the Promoter reserves the right to change the Opening Date and/or the Closing Date. Any such change will not be made for the purpose of responding to low ticket sales. If any such change is made, the updated details will be displayed on the Website as soon as reasonably practicable.
3.3 All online entries must be submitted by no later than the specified time on the Closing Date. Postal entries must be delivered to the Promoter’s correspondence address before the Closing Date and time in order to be valid.
3.4 The maximum number of entries to the competition will be stated on the Website. Entries may be limited if the maximum number of total entries for the competition is reached.
3.5 To enter the competition online:
(a) go to the Website and view the competition;
(b) select the desired number of entries;
(c) complete the checkout process and submit the online entry form; and
(d) complete the payment process to receive your order confirmation.
3.6 All entries must be submitted in the English language. Entries in languages other than English may be disqualified.
3.7 The Promoter will send confirmation that your entry has been received and your allocated ticket number(s).
3.8 The Promoter will not accept responsibility for entries that are not successfully completed, are lost, or are delayed due to technical malfunction, network failure, system error, or other circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control.
3.9 By submitting an entry (whether paid or free), you are entering into a contract with the Promoter and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
3.10 Free Postal Entry
You may enter any competition for free by complying with the following conditions:
(a) Send your entry on an unenclosed postcard by first or second class post to:
Hot Comps LTD
Suite 14, St. Mary’s Court
Carleton Forehoe
NR9 4AL
(b) The postcard must clearly and legibly include:
(i) your full name;
(ii) your full postal address;
(iii) a contact telephone number;
(iv) your email address;
(v) the name of the competition you wish to enter.
(c) Each postal entry must be submitted and posted separately. Multiple entries sent in a single envelope will be treated as one single entry.
(d) Entrants must have created an account on the Website. The details provided on the postcard must match the details registered on the account.
(e) Free postal entries must be received by the Promoter before the Closing Date and time.
(f) Any free postal entry that is received before the Closing Date and time will be treated as a valid entry (subject to compliance with these terms), even if processing and ticket allocation occurs after the Closing Date.
(g) Free postal entries are allocated ticket numbers from the same pool and sequence as paid entries and carry identical odds of winning. Ticket numbers are allocated in the order in which valid entries are processed.
(h) The Promoter does not give any priority to paid entries. If the maximum number of total entries for a competition is reached, the competition will close to all further entries (both paid and free). A competition will be treated as closed once the final available ticket number has been allocated or the Closing Date/time has passed (whichever occurs first). Any entry received after closure will not be entered into the draw.
(i) Free postal entries are collected and processed daily (excluding bank holidays). Entries received on a working day will be processed either that day or on the next working day. A postal entry is treated as received when it is delivered to the Promoter’s correspondence address.

3.11 You must enter using your real name and accurate personal details. The details provided must match the information held on your account and the identification you may be required to provide under these terms. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry where false, misleading or inconsistent information is provided.

4 Choosing a winner
4.1 Random Draw Competitions
For competitions advertised as a “Live Draw” or “Scheduled Draw”, all valid entries (including paid and free entries) received before the Closing Date will be allocated a unique ticket number and entered into a random draw.
The winner will be selected entirely at random using a verifiable random number selection method (which may include a random number generator, draw software, or other auditable method). The draw will take place as soon as reasonably practicable and, in any event, within 7 calendar days of the Closing Date (“Draw Date”).
Where conducted as a live draw, the draw may be streamed via the Promoter’s chosen platform. During live draws, the list of valid ticket numbers (and corresponding names unless anonymised at the entrant’s request) may be displayed for transparency.
The selection process is entirely random. No skill, judgment or discretion is involved in determining the winner.
4.2 Automated Draw Competitions (“Auto Draws”)
For competitions described as “Auto Draws”, the winner will be selected automatically by the Website’s system either:
(a) when the competition closes; or
(b) when the final available ticket number is allocated,
whichever occurs first.
The automated system uses a randomised selection process to determine the winning ticket number without human intervention and without discretion.
All valid entries (including free entries) have an equal and identical chance of selection.
4.3 Instant Win Prizes
Certain competitions may include Instant Win prizes.
Instant Win winning ticket numbers (or equivalent predetermined winning outcomes) are generated in advance of the competition opening and assigned across the range of available ticket numbers using a randomisation process.
When a participant is allocated a ticket number (whether by paid or free entry), if that ticket number corresponds to a predetermined Instant Win number, the entrant will automatically win the associated prize.
Instant Win prizes are independent of the main draw and are awarded immediately upon ticket allocation.
Paid and free entries have an equal opportunity to be allocated any predetermined Instant Win winning ticket number.
4.4 Equal Treatment of Entries
All valid entries, whether submitted via paid entry or free postal entry, are processed in the same manner and allocated ticket numbers from the same sequence.
Each allocated ticket number represents one entry into the draw and carries identical odds of winning.

5. Eligibility
5.1 The competition is only open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of those listed in (a) and (b).
5.2 By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. The Promoter may require you to provide proof of eligibility. Failure to provide such proof within a reasonable time may result in disqualification.
5.3 The Promoter will not accept entries that are:
(a) automatically generated by computer; or
(b) incomplete.
5.4 The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who is in breach of these terms and conditions or who engages in conduct that undermines the fairness or integrity of the competition.
5.5 Entry fees are non-refundable except where the competition is cancelled in accordance with these terms or where required by law. An entry may be disqualified (without refund) if:
(a) the entrant is found to be ineligible;
(b) the entrant fails to comply with these terms and conditions; or
(c) the entrant is disqualified under clause 5.4.
5.6 Entrants may enter each competition multiple times, subject to any maximum per-user entry limits and the overall maximum number of entries for that competition. Free postal entries must be submitted separately. Multiple entries submitted in a single envelope will be treated as one entry.
5.7 An entry will be declared void (without refund) if the entrant engages in:
(a) fraud (actual or apparent);
(b) fraudulent misrepresentation;
(c) fraudulent concealment;
(d) hacking or interference with the proper functioning of the Website; or
(e) unauthorised use or amendment of any code that constitutes the Website.
5.8 Only one entrant is permitted per household per competition unless otherwise stated. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify entries that breach this rule.
5.9 Each person may hold only one account. If duplicate accounts are identified, the Promoter reserves the right to close those accounts, void any associated entries, and disqualify the individual from current or future competitions. Where fraud or deliberate abuse is established, the Promoter reserves the right to withhold or recover any prize awarded in breach of these terms.

6. The Prize
6.1 The prize for the competition is described on the Website (the “Prize”). Details of the Prize are, to the best of the Promoter’s knowledge and belief, correct as at the Opening Date.
6.2 Prizes are subject to availability. Where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control make it necessary to do so, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or greater value. If any material details of the Prize change, the Promoter will update the Website as soon as reasonably practicable.
6.3 The Promoter will use reasonable efforts to ensure that the Prize matches the description provided. Except where required by law, the Promoter makes no guarantees regarding the Prize beyond the description published on the Website.
If the Prize is a vehicle:
(a) the Promoter will, unless otherwise stated, ensure it comes with a valid MOT (if required by law);
(b) insurance is not included and it is the Winner’s responsibility to arrange appropriate insurance prior to using the vehicle on public roads;
(c) once the vehicle has been transferred to the Winner, the Winner is responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations relating to its use;
(d) vehicle tax is not included unless expressly stated;
(e) the Winner is responsible for ensuring appropriate safety equipment and compliance with all legal requirements when operating the vehicle.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
6.4 The Prize may be supplied by a third-party supplier. Where applicable, supplier details will be provided on the Website.
6.5 The Promoter reserves the right to offer a cash alternative to the Prize in the following circumstances:
(a) where the Prize becomes unavailable;
(b) where circumstances beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control make substitution necessary; or
(c) where the Winner elects to receive a cash alternative instead of the Prize.
Where a cash alternative is offered, its value will reflect a reasonable assessment of the Prize’s value at the time of substitution. If the Prize is a vehicle, the cash alternative will be based on its trade value at the time of substitution, assessed using an appropriate vehicle valuation service. Any advertised cash values are approximate.
The availability of a cash alternative does not affect the random nature of the competition or the equal chance of winning.
6.6 The Prize is not negotiable or transferable unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter.

7. Winners
7.1 The Promoter’s decision regarding the selection of the winner is final. The Promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the outcome of the draw except in relation to the administration of the Prize.
7.2 The Winner’s full name will be announced during the live draw (where applicable). If you wish for your name to be anonymised during the live draw, you must contact the Promoter at admin@hotcomps.com in reasonable time before the Draw Date.
7.3 The Winner will be notified using the contact details provided at the time of entry. All prizes (including main draw prizes and Instant Win prizes) must be claimed via the Winner’s Payout Portal accessible through their account.
Before any Prize is released, the Winner must successfully complete the Promoter’s identity verification process, which may include the upload of valid photographic identification and any additional information reasonably required to confirm eligibility and compliance with these terms.
The Promoter will, where reasonably practicable, allow the Winner to resubmit documents or provide further information to remedy verification issues.
If the Winner:
fails to complete identity verification within 21 days of notification;
fails to claim the Prize via the Payout Portal within 21 days;
fails identity verification or provides false or misleading information;
cannot be contacted after reasonable attempts; or
fails to comply with these terms,
the Prize may be deemed forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries received before the Closing Date. The alternative winner will have 21 days from notification to complete verification and claim the Prize. This process may continue until the Prize is successfully claimed.
Entrants must ensure that the name used when entering any competition matches the name shown on their valid photographic identification. The Promoter reserves the right to withhold or refuse release of any Prize, and/or disqualify the entrant, where the account details do not match the identity of the individual claiming the Prize.
7.4 In accordance with applicable promotional and advertising regulations, the Promoter must either publish or make available information demonstrating that a valid award has taken place. The Promoter will publish the Winner’s surname and county/town of residence on the Website.
7.5 If you object to the publication of your surname and county/town of residence, you must notify the Promoter prior to the Closing Date. The Promoter may still be required to provide winner details to regulatory authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority) upon request.
7.6 Any site credit issued (including in respect of unclaimed prizes where applicable) will expire 6 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated.

8 Claiming the prize
8.1 The Prize must be claimed by the Winner personally via the Payout Portal accessible through their account. The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on the Winner’s behalf unless otherwise agreed by the Promoter. Release of any Prize is conditional upon successful completion of the Promoter’s identity verification process in accordance with clause 7. Details of how the Prize will be delivered or made available for collection are published on the Website or available upon request.
8.2 If your personal details, including contact information, change at any time, you must notify the Promoter as soon as reasonably possible by emailing admin@hotcomps.com. The notification must include details of the competition entered, your previous details and your updated details. If your details change within 10 days of the Closing Date, the Promoter may use the details originally provided for the purpose of contacting you.
8.3 Any Cash Prize will be transferred directly to the Winner’s nominated bank account following successful identity verification. The Winner may be required to provide evidence that they are the sole or joint beneficiary of that account. Failure to provide the requested information within 21 days of request (or such other period as the Promoter notifies the Winner in writing) may result in forfeiture of the Prize and the Promoter reserving the right to select an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries received before the Closing Date.
8.4 The Promoter will not be liable to provide compensation where a Winner is unable or unwilling to accept or take up the Prize, except where required by law.
8.5 Where the Prize is a vehicle, ownership will only be transferred once the Winner has successfully completed all eligibility and verification checks. Transfer will be completed using the appropriate DVLA process (including completion of the V5C registration document where applicable) prior to handover.

9 Limitation of liability
9.1 Nothing in these terms and conditions excludes or limits the Promoter’s liability where it would be unlawful to do so. This includes liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its employees, agents or subcontractors, and for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9.2 Subject to the above, the Promoter, its agents and distributors shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury or disappointment suffered by any entrant as a result of entering the competition or accepting or using the Prize, except where such loss or damage is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its employees, agents or subcontractors.

10 Data Protection and Publicity
10.1 By entering the competition, you acknowledge that the Promoter will process your personal data for the purposes of administering the competition, contacting winners, verifying eligibility and awarding the Prize. Personal data will be processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy, available on the Website.
10.2 If you are the Winner, the Promoter may publish your surname and county/town of residence in order to comply with applicable promotional and advertising regulations and to demonstrate that a valid award has taken place. Where applicable, the Promoter may also request your participation in reasonable publicity relating to the competition.
10.3 If you object to the publication of your surname and county/town of residence, you must notify the Promoter prior to the Closing Date. In such circumstances, the Promoter may still be required to provide winner information to regulatory authorities (including the Advertising Standards Authority) upon request.
10.4 If you are the Winner, you may be required to provide additional personal information and proof of identity in order to verify eligibility and facilitate transfer of the Prize. The Promoter will process such information for the purpose of fulfilling its contractual and legal obligations. Failure to provide required verification information within a reasonable time may result in forfeiture of the Prize and selection of an alternative winner at random from the remaining valid entries received before the Closing Date.
10.5 You have rights under applicable data protection legislation, including the right to request access to your personal data, rectification or erasure of your data, or restriction of processing. Where you exercise such rights in a manner that prevents the Promoter from administering the competition or awarding the Prize, you may be treated as having withdrawn from the competition. Withdrawal will not entitle you to a refund of any entry fee unless required by law.

11. General
11.1 The Promoter reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions from time to time. Any amendments will not affect competitions already open unless the change is required for legal or regulatory reasons or does not materially disadvantage entrants. The latest version of these terms and conditions will be available on the Website.
11.2 If there is reasonable evidence of a breach of these terms and conditions, the Promoter reserves the right to exclude an entrant from participating in the competition and any future competitions.
11.3 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel or amend a competition where it becomes necessary to do so due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control or to comply with applicable law or regulation. If a competition is cancelled, the Promoter will return the entry fees to each entrant using the original payment method where possible. Where entry fees are returned, the Promoter shall have no further liability in respect of that competition except where required by law.
11.4 The competitions on the Website and App are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Facebook, Apple or Google. By entering the competitions, entrants agree that neither Facebook, Apple nor Google bear any responsibility or liability in relation to the administration of the competitions.
11.5 These terms and conditions are governed by English law, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11.6 You are advised to retain a copy of these terms and conditions for your records.

12 Responsible Play, Account Controls and Payment Restrictions
12.1 The Promoter is committed to operating competitions in a socially responsible manner and in accordance with applicable advertising standards.

12.2 Entrants may set a monthly spend limit on their account, including a limit of £0. Once the selected limit is reached, no further paid entries may be made until the next monthly period or unless the limit rules permit otherwise. Reductions to a spend limit take effect immediately. Increases to a spend limit may be subject to a cooling-off period before taking effect.
12.3 Entrants may request account suspension, account closure, or a self-exclusion period of at least 6 months. During a self-exclusion period, the entrant must not participate in competitions and will be excluded from direct marketing communications. Entries made in breach of an active self-exclusion may be declared void.
12.4 The Promoter monitors account and entry activity for responsible play purposes and may apply proportionate interventions. This may include contacting the entrant, applying account restrictions, suspending entries, or suspending/closing an account where reasonably necessary to prevent harm or protect the integrity of competitions.

13 Complaints and Dispute Resolution
13.1 Complaints may be submitted by email to admin@hotcomps.com or by post to the Promoter’s correspondence address set out in clause 1.2. The Promoter aims to acknowledge complaints within 5 working days.
13.2 The Promoter will investigate complaints and issue a substantive response within a reasonable timeframe. If the complaint is not resolved at first stage, the entrant may request escalation for internal review.
13.3 If a complaint remains unresolved following internal escalation, the parties may, where appropriate and lawful, agree to refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) provider before court proceedings.
13.4 Nothing in this clause 13 prevents either party from commencing court proceedings at any time in accordance with clause 11.5.
