Responsible Play

Hot Comps LTD is committed to providing competitions in a fair, safe and socially responsible way.
Competitions should be entered for entertainment purposes only and not as a means of financial gain.
1. 18+ Only
Our competitions are strictly for people aged 18 or over and resident in the United Kingdom. We may carry out age and identity checks before allowing participation or releasing prizes.
2. Spend Limits
You can set a monthly spend limit on your account, including a limit of £0. Once your selected limit is reached, no further paid entries can be made until the next monthly period or unless the limit rules permit otherwise.
Spend limits apply across all competitions operated by Hot Comps LTD.
Spend limits can be set and adjusted through your account settings or by contacting us at admin@hotcomps.com.
Any reduction to your limit takes effect immediately. Any increase may be subject to a cooling-off period before it becomes active.
3. Self-Exclusion and Account Controls
You can set the following controls through your account settings:
– Temporary account suspension
– Account closure
– Self-exclusion for a minimum period of 6 months
Short-term cooling-off periods and temporary suspensions will apply for the selected period chosen in your account settings. Cooling-off periods may be lifted once the selected period has expired. Self-exclusion cannot be revoked during the selected exclusion period. At the end of the exclusion period, you must contact us to request reactivation. Reactivation will not occur automatically.
Entries made in breach of an active self-exclusion may be declared void.
4. Monitoring and Intervention
We monitor account and entry activity for responsible play purposes and may apply proportionate interventions. This may include contacting you, applying account restrictions, suspending entries, or suspending/closing an account where reasonably necessary to prevent harm or protect the integrity of competitions.
We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects without appropriate human review.

5. Competition Timeframes
We ensure that competitions are open for a reasonable period of time to support informed participation and responsible play.
