Where the paid entry price per ticket is lower than the typical cost of postage, the Promoter may allocate more than one ticket per valid postal entry to ensure the free entry route is not disadvantaged. The allocation method will be applied consistently.

This limited collection of annual release whiskies fuse the artistry and expertise behind The Macallan’s whisky-making with creativity and culture. Each release in the series is unique and designed to create an extraordinary taste experience.
The Macallan Concept No. 1 is the first release in a new, limited edition series which celebrates the world’s visionaries by daring to disrupt the whisky making process. Created from whiskies matured first in sherry-seasoned oak casks and then in ex-bourbon casks, this whisky explores maturation more imaginatively. The unusual double-maturation process delivers a very different and truly memorable expression of The Macallan.
Creativity takes many forms. It is often a process requiring a mixture of considered intentionality, dedicated perseverance, and bold and brave intuition. The Macallan Concept Number 2, our second release of the Concept series celebrates the similarities in the creative approaches of crafting whisky and creating music.
The creative process for both music and a single malt whisky can take a similar path. The layering of sounds can be placed down like the layering of different flavours from specific cask types. Each different cask brings its own influence to the character of the whisky, like each instrument, or sound, adds depth to a track. In both cases, each different element, whether it be flavour or sounds, can be enhanced or played down as required.
Bringing together the artistry and expertise of whisky making with the bold visual creativity of graphic design, Concept Number 3 is the final release in The Macallan Concept Series.
Graphic designer David Carson visited The Macallan’s beautiful 485-acre Estate in Speyside, Scotland, where he spent time with The Macallan Whisky Maker Polly Logan. During that time they discovered that a remarkable number of similarities define their approach to their respective crafts. Both are driven to revisit and evolve their work, which enables them to create greater depth by ensuring every element has a distinct purpose.
Polly recounts: “Our encounter at the distillery inspired me to create this light, warm, welcoming whisky just like David himself. A bright and fresh whisky, a little unexpected for The Macallan, with a hue which conveys the vibrancy and lightness found within. The colour, California Gold, a light warm yellow, reflects David’s years on the US West Coast.”
