TAG Heuer honours Brazillian Formula 1 Champion, Aryton Senna with the special edition Formula 1 watch. TAG successfully captures Ayrton Senna’s legacy, by producing a luxury sportswatch with such bold and daring design and spirit.
Encapsulating Senna’s fast and fearless spirit is the ceramic bezel which features a tachymeter scale that goes up to 400km/h, a nod toward the racing champion’s personal record speed of 340 km/h. The watch face is presented on a sunray-brushed anthracite dial which is powered by a TAG Heuer quartz movement accurate to 1/10th of a second. The dial also features luminous black sub-dials at 3,6 and 9 o’clock. Contrasting yellow accents on the dial and bezel are an homage to the unmistakable colour scheme that is reminiscent of Aryton Senna.
The secure case and screw-down caseback with special Senna engraving are constructed from stainless-steel. Like similar Senna special-edition timepieces, the watch is fastened with a stainless-steel bracelet with iconic double S-links providing total comfort for everyday wear and out on the track. Water resistant to 200 meters, it takes on all challenges, just like the master of speed who inspired its creation. This luxury timepiece proves to be a fitting tribute to a timeless partnership, for those men who are unafraid to stand out and take risks.
