Sonos’ Roam is the portable smart speaker for listening adventures, letting you take superb Sonos sound with you. Enjoy music, voice control and the ability for multi-room listening with other Sonos speakers over your Wi-Fi at home. Plus you get Bluetooth streaming, all day battery life and waterproof durability when it’s on the go.

Superb Sonos sound
Precision-engineered acoustics deliver clarity, depth, and fullness, such as you would expect from a much larger speaker. Using Trueplay tuning, the sound adapts, both to the environment, and to what you’re listening to, for always-optimised audio.

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth
Stream over your home network with Wi-Fi built-in, or directly from your smart device with Bluetooth. Roam automatically connects to your home Wi-Fi, and pairs with your phone while you’re away, so you only have to worry about the song choice.

Refined, versatile and rugged design
Slim and versatile, Roam blends into the home. When vertical, it delivers room-filling sound while taking up little room. Or you can position it horizontally on uneven surfaces like grass for extra stability. Solidly constructed and rated IP67, it’s drop-resistant, waterproof up to three feet for 30 minutes, and impervious to dust.

Easy control
Just turn on the Roam and open the Sonos S2 app on your smart device, and the app will guide you through easy set-up. You can use the app to browse and search across all your services, save favourites, set alarms, and discover new music on Sonos Radio. Send sound directly from Apple devices to Sonos using AirPlay 2, then ask Siri to turn it up or skip a song. Or you can press the buttons on Roam to play, pause, adjust the volume, skip, replay, turn off the microphones, and manually switch to Bluetooth.

Sonos streaming
Sonos works with all your favourite streaming services for music, podcasts, audiobooks, and more, while Sonos Radio gives you access to more than 60,000 live stations from around the world.

Voice control with the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa
The Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa are built in so, when connected to Wi-Fi, you can play music, check news, set alarms, get your questions answered, and more, completely hands free. You must be connected to Wi-Fi for voice control, it does not work on Bluetooth.

Build your own system
Easily connect compatible Sonos speakers in different rooms over Wi-Fi to create a home sound system that plays music in any or every room.

10 hours of battery life
Roam lasts for up to ten hours of continuous play time from a single charge. It also goes into sleep mode to save power when not in use, and wakes up in less than a second at the press of a button.

Wireless charging
The Roam works with Qi-certified wireless chargers, or with Sonos’ own custom wireless charger to maintain its low profile. Wireless chargers are optional and sold separately.

Once you’ve unboxed Roam, you can start charging using the included USB-C cable and a 7.5W (5V/1.5A) or higher USB power adapter. To set up Roam and connect it to your system, just open the Sonos S2 app while on Wi-Fi and follow the prompts. When you’re ready to stream over Bluetooth, pair Roam with your mobile device by holding the power button until you hear the second chime.
