Immersive gameplay: The OLED experience in Ultra WQHD
The Samsung Odyssey G8 leverages the core experience of OLED technology to offer you unparalleled visual depth. Target groups such as gamers, who place the highest demands on contrast and speed, benefit directly from this interaction. With an impressive Ultra WQHD resolution(3440 x 1440), content comes to life on the 34-inch 21:9 aspect ratio screen. Even the smallest details remain visible, supported by a pixel density of 110 PPI. OLED technology not only ensures a wide colour spectrum, but also delivers deep blacks thanks to self-illuminating pixels. Unlike conventional displays, this avoids annoying pixel light bleed, which reveals hidden secrets, especially in dark game scenes, giving you a clear tactical advantage.
OLED Glare Free and 0.03 ms – when every millisecond counts
Especially in demanding games where you need to be fully focused on the target, a distraction-free display is crucial. This is where the Odyssey G8 plays to two of its greatest strengths: response time and refresh rate. Experience hyper-action without interruption thanks to the ultra-fast response time of just 0.03 ms (GtG). Combined with a 175 Hz refresh rate, delays are reduced to a minimum, so you’re always ahead of the game and enjoy smooth gameplay. G-Sync compatibility ensures that the graphics processor and screen are synchronised to prevent stuttering and tearing. Glare Free technology: Special OLED Glare Free technology protects you from distractions caused by reflections. The advanced coating reduces reflections by 54%, ensuring high colour accuracy and consistent image sharpness – even in bright rooms. This allows you to stay fully focused on the target.
Intelligent thermal system and smart home integration
The Samsung Odyssey OLED G8 offers real added value and long-term benefits beyond its pure gaming performance. Firstly, Samsung OLED Safeguard protects your investment. The thermal modulation system uses algorithms to determine the surface temperature in advance and automatically regulate brightness, reducing heat. In addition, adaptive brightness for still images ensures that static elements such as logos and taskbars are automatically dimmed to prevent burn-in.
